A Relaxed Morning at Home with Baby Lachie ❤ In-home Newborn Photographer Melbourne
There’s something so special about lifestyle newborn photography - capturing a family just as they are, in the comfort of their own home. Cuddles on the couch, little morning routines, plenty of toddler energy and all those in-between moments that make up family life.
I recently spent a lovely morning with this beautiful family, who had welcomed their second son, Lachie. At four months old, Lachie is no longer a tiny, sleepy newborn, but he is every bit as gorgeous - and already developing a little personality of his own.
Big brother Josh, at three years old, is completely in love with his new role. He was very happy to show Lachie around, shower him with cuddles and kisses, and embrace being a big brother. Mum and Dad were just as sweet, and the love and connection between all four of them was beautiful to capture.
We kept this family photography session relaxed and at home, photographing their morning as it naturally unfolded. There was no need for elaborate posing or a perfectly styled house - just a family enjoying their time together. We spent time snuggling, playing and simply being together before heading out into the garden, where Josh led the search for tomatoes and caterpillars!
These are the little moments that tell the story of this particular season of family life.
