There’s nothing quite like those first few days at home with a newborn - the gentle quiet, the crazy sleep deprivation, and the overwhelming love that fills every corner. I recently had the joy of spending a morning with the Ceban Family as they welcomed their newest little love, baby Amalia.
Photographing in-home sessions allows me to capture life exactly as it is - real, relaxed, and beautifully imperfect. This session was filled with tender moments: sleepy snuggles, tiny yawns, and the beautiful bond already forming between this new family of four.
Big brother Toma brought all the energy, personality and heart you’d expect from a preschooler. A cheeky, gorgeous ball of fun, he was full of curiosity and bursting with big brother pride. Whether he was peeking into Amalia’s swaddle, sharing cuddles with Mum and Dad, or showing me his favourite toys in between photos, his joy was contagious.
The result? A gallery of honest, love-filled images that freeze this fleeting moment in time. Because these early days -messy, magical, and full of emotion - are precious to this family forever, and worth capturing exactly as they are.
