I’m a lifestyle photographer based in Melbourne (Naarm), specialising in relaxed, natural photography, with radiance and warmth. I love photographing families, children, teens, and newborns, and I also work with individuals and small businesses on personal branding photography. From special family milestones to candid event photography and school or community promotions, I’m here to help you tell your story through beautiful, real images.
I’m a super relaxed, go-with-the-flow kind of person .. the kind of extrovert who adopts introverts :) My number one goal is to help you feel at ease in front of the camera.
Honestly, the idea of having your photo taken for an hour or so can feel a bit weird. But I promise, it’ll be easier (and more fun) than you expect. We’ll chat, laugh, move around, and before you know it, it’ll feel more like hanging out than a formal photoshoot. So don’t worry - I’m an expert in navigating this delightfully awkward space!
I have photographed and love all the families of the LGBTQIA+ community 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️… and if your family includes gorgeous people from anywhere along any spectrum, be assured that I am super keen to capture you all in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. A little more about me…
I am your glass half full, general fun enthusiast, coffee loving, travel obsessed, friendly local Melbourne photographer.
Outside of photography, I’m a mum to two amazing/fun/crazy teenagers. My husband Mark and I have been adventuring through life together for over twenty years, and we especially love travelling with our kids.
Photography has always been a part of my life - you know that one friend that has allll the pix? That’s me :) But before starting Skylark Photography, I worked in environmental advocacy - collaborating with community groups to push for stronger action on climate change and other environmental causes. That passion for people, connection, and meaningful stories still drives the work I do today.
